why does alcohol make break-ups feel easier?

ink-portrait-color

this is an ink drawing i did at the beginning of the semester but never did anything to it. just left it in my sketch book til now. I made a print of this & hopefully someone will buy it at the PNCA holiday art sale.

I am BROKE! so im crossing my fingers and holding my breath.

So we had a guy come in to our illustration class who said he usually takes about an hour or so(split up through the day at his work) to finish a digital sketch. He draws out the image pretty small, scans it in to photoshop & colors it and plays with effects and stuff. So I thought today I would give it a shot.

it took me almost three hours.

eh. im not so very fast with photoshop anyway, Ill be taking a digital tools class next semester though. Anyway, here is my very first attempt.digital sketch1

Wooden Kimono

This was an assignment piece, meant to illustrate the 1930/40s slang “wooden kimono”. The kanji letter means “coffin”
